Rockaway AG community with a heart

Rockaway AG has been serving the Rockaway community with a heart to see lives transformed by the power of Jesus. What started as a gathering of people passionate about faith has grown into a vibrant church family where everyone is welcome.

Through the years, our mission has remained the same—to create a place where people can encounter God, build meaningful relationships, and grow in their walk with Him.

SUPPORTING

Intergenerational Ministry

We believe faith is best lived out together. Intergenerational Ministry brings all ages together to grow, serve, and build meaningful relationships as one church family.

SUPPORTING

Kingdom Builders (Missions)

Kingdom Builders is our commitment to sharing the Gospel beyond our walls—supporting missions, outreach, and initiatives that impact lives locally and around the world.

Rockaway AG Core Values

We believe the Bible inspired by God and is the infallible authority for how we live.

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

We actively seek the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and give Him permission to operate via the gifts.

Acts 4:31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

We will make disciples by going and sending.

Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

We are cheerful givers not out of fear, but out of love and obedience.

2 Corinthians 9:7-8 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

We serve others out of our gifts and talents to help lead others to an opportunity at encountering Christ.

Hebrews 10:24-25 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

We grow deeper with God so that we can grow deeper with others in the community.

Acts 4:31-32 32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all

We invest in the future of our church now by building relationships, serving alongside and imparting wisdom across generations.

Psalm 78:6-7 so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.

We encourage, support and provide opportunities for the spiritual growth of families.

3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth
